There are different Psychologist positions being filled under this announcement to include Specialty Mental Health as well Primary Care Mental Health Intergrated. Assigned as a Psychologist at one of the CBOCs, the incumbent serves as a fully qualified psychologist, performing the following functions which includes: Psychological Consultation, providing psychological expertise and services to patient and inter-disciplinary treatment teams as required.

* Psychological Assessment, conducting evaluations of a patient's psychological functioning based upon available data, clinical interview, psychological tests and instruments, and other structured techniques.
* Psycho education, providing educational and informational interventions to patients, families, care givers and treatment staff in areas of psychological functioning appropriate to needs of those being educated.
* Individual Psychotherapy, providing individual psychotherapy to patients, families, care givers, and treatment staff as appropriate utilizing accepted forms of psychological interventions appropriate to the needs of the individual being served.
* Group Psychotherapy, providing group psychotherapy to patients, families, care giver and treatment staff as appropriate utilizing accepted forms of psychological interventions appropriate to the needs of those being serviced.
* Performs a variety of clinical administrative functions to include but not limited to evaluating clinical records; identifying and documenting risk management issues, and taking appropriate action.
* Establishes and monitors outcome measures; assists in the development of clinical business plans; assists in preparation of regulatory reviews; maintains program statistics; and prepares and delivers briefings to the facility.
* Provides training and supervision to graduate-level psychology students, predoctoral interns, and/or trainees from associated health professions.
* Provides a full range of therapeutic interventions including: evidence-based treatments for PTSD and other mental disorders.

Incumbent may be required to complete one-year probationary period.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with rotating tours of duty as needed.
